ABEDE LLC Promotional Raffle – Official Terms of Service 1. Sponsor and Legal Status Sponsor: ABEDE LLC No Purchase or Payment Necessary to Enter or Win. Under New York Penal Law § 225.00(10), an unlawful lottery requires three elements: a prize, chance, and consideration. Because ABEDE LLC provides entry tickets entirely for free and does not require a purchase or payment, the element of "consideration" is absent. Therefore, this promotion qualifies as a legal promotional sweepstakes under New York law. 2. Lifetime Eligibility, One-Time Registration, and Parental Consent One-Time Lifetime Limit: Each raffle ticket may only be associated with one individual and one phone number for the entire lifetime of the raffle system. A participant may register only once, and the mobile phone number used during initial registration becomes permanently tied to that participant’s entry. Prohibition of Multiple Entries: Participants may not return at a later date to re-enter the raffle using the same phone number, a different phone number, or a different identity. Each phone number is eligible for exactly one lifetime entry, and each individual is eligible for exactly one lifetime entry, regardless of how many events they attend, how many tickets they physically receive, or how many dates they visit. This strict rule ensures fairness, prevents duplicate participation, and maintains the integrity of the raffle system. Parental Consent for Minors: This promotion is open to individuals under eighteen (18) years of age only with the explicit permission of a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a minor to register and participate, the parent or legal guardian represents and warrants that they have read and agreed to these Terms on the minor’s behalf. 3. Schedule, Entry, and Verification Process Two separate raffles will be conducted each Sunday: 10:30 AM Experience Service Raffle 2:30 PM Ready at 20 Service Raffle Each raffle is operated independently, and the same rules, eligibility requirements, and Terms of Service apply to both sessions without exception. Participants in the morning service raffle are not automatically entered into the afternoon raffle, and vice versa. Each raffle follows identical procedures, prize-availability rules, and winner-selection criteria. Registration alone does not guarantee entry into a prize drawing. To successfully enter, participants must complete all required steps for their respective session: Obtain a free promotional ticket. Register the ticket by scanning the QR code or visiting the official registration website to input the unique code printed on the ticket. Provide a valid first and last name and an active mobile phone number. Attend the corresponding First Love Church service (10:30 AM or 2:30 PM) and visit the designated Newcomers Invitation Lounge. Verify attendance with church staff, who will confirm entry by checking the physical ticket or phone number. 4. Prize Selection, Inventory Limits, and Third-Party Fulfillment The Prize: Digital gift cards valued at $5.00 (e.g., Home Depot, Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks, or other participating vendors). Rolling Inventory: Up to the first ten (10) eligible participants may win a prize per raffle session, strictly contingent upon remaining prize inventory. If fewer than ten prizes remain in stock for a session, the maximum number of winners will be capped at the exact number of remaining prizes. For example, if a session begins with fifteen (15) gift cards in inventory and eight (8) are awarded, seven (7) gift cards remain, meaning a maximum of seven (7) winners can be selected for the next raffle session. Selection: If eligible participants in a session are equal to or fewer than the available prizes (up to the 10-prize limit), all eligible participants receive a prize. If eligible participants exceed available prizes, the system executes a random drawing up to the limit of remaining stock. Third-Party Messaging: Winners will receive an automated text containing a reward link. ABEDE LLC utilizes third-party fulfillment services to deliver text messages and prize codes. Consequently, texts may originate from an unrecognized phone number or third-party vendor name. Participation constitutes express written consent to receive automated messages from ABEDE LLC and its authorized partners for prize delivery and church event reminders. 5. Data Privacy and Restricted Commercial Use In compliance with New York State consumer protection standards, including New York General Business Law § 349: Sole Purpose: ABEDE LLC collects name and phone number data solely to administer the raffle, deliver prizes through third-party vendors, and transfer participant details to First Love Church as a social congregation. No Commercial Exploitation: ABEDE LLC will never sell, rent, distribute, or lease participant data to advertisers, solicitors, or commercial partners. Third-party messaging vendors are authorized to use participant data strictly to fulfill prize notifications and are barred from using it for marketing. ABEDE LLC will not use participant data to promote products, services, loans, or commercial offerings. 6. Transfer of Data and Comprehensive Limitation of Liability By participating, individuals consent to ABEDE LLC sharing their name and phone number with First Love Church (a social congregation) and its associated organization, Lighthouse Chapels. Release of Liability for Data Transfer: Once ABEDE LLC transfers data to First Love Church, ABEDE LLC relinquishes control over said data and is not liable for subsequent disclosures, errors, or data handling by First Love Church or Lighthouse Chapels. Broad Limitation of Liability: Participants explicitly acknowledge and agree that ABEDE LLC, First Love Church, Lighthouse Chapels, and all of their respective affiliates, volunteers, directors, officers, and associates are not liable for the loss, misplacement, deletion, damage, or misuse of any raffle code, prize, or reward. Furthermore, these parties bear no liability for any negative, unintended, or adverse effects that a code, link, or prize may have on a participant’s life, circumstances, or personal affairs, in any form, shape, or manner, at any time. 7. Finality of Results, Courtesy Adjustments, and Modifications Final and Conclusive Results: Participants agree to accept all raffle outcomes as final. All drawings, selections, and distribution results are conclusive and are not subject to appeal, dispute, administrative review, or legal challenge. Non-Precedential Courtesy Actions: Any courtesy adjustments, discretionary accommodations, or goodwill gestures provided by ABEDE LLC do not constitute a waiver or modification of these official Terms of Service and are considered separate, independent actions outside contractual obligations. Automatic Application of Updated Terms: ABEDE LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. All past and present participants automatically fall under the most recent version of these Terms, and continued participation or retention of entry constitutes binding acceptance of all updated terms. 8. Governing Law This agreement and all related practices are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York and applicable New York City regulations.
